Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
I would like to ask that there are more random links in this thread please - it takes me forever to get the page to load up, but I don't mind clicking on a link once in a while if it helps (though I still don't understand how it works!)

As it's the number of citizens our city has that controls our rise up the rankings all you really need to do is click/bookmark the following link each day to take part in our growth.
http://cable-forum.myminicity.com/
You can use the links in Rob's first post #1 to add police, factories, parks etc but the click exchange/s? being used to get us far more population than we, on this thread, could ever hope to generate seems to ensure that our city grows without any imbalances.
Add I have changed my signature so that anyone can use it to add population.

The only thing the click exchange does not add is Business

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
But business, doesn't seem to have any detrimental impact if it's not kept in proportion to the rest of the city's growth. Indeed I'm not sure what it's real purpose is as far as the rate of clicks go. Perhaps it has something to do with that elusive clock tower?

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
A little
We are getting closer to our rival with the population difference now under 2500 and it appears we are catching up at around 500 citizens a day.
On a very happy note I have discovered a recipe for Brussel Sprout Wine. I don't know how good it will be but I'll give it a go.
There is another recipe on the same site that I am less sure about and think I may have problems getting the main ingredient, or finding a pan big enough.
Ingredients
* 1 elephant (medium size)
* 1 rabbit (optional)
* Salt and Pepper to taste
Cut elephant into bite sized pieces; this takes about 2 months. Add enough brown gravy to cover. Cook over kerosene fire at 465 degrees. Serves 3800 persons. For those who dislike elephant stew, the rabbit may be added -- but only if necessary because most people don't like hare in their stew.

I don't know what gives me greater concern, that someone took the time to work out a recipe, that someone actually thought it was worth putting on the net, or that you are going to try it

Re: MyMiniCity: Cable Forum
Nice link Maggy. It's reassuring to know that there are other cabbage lovers out there.
Oh and by the way I am sure you will all be delighted to know that the Sprout brew is under way.
 I think I may have put a tad to much yeast in and it appears to have started fermenting, or should I say festering. John has been pulling a funny face and sniffing under the stairs so I think he must have noticed the fragrant odor emanating from the bucket.
