Angry I-Web Solutions

Does anyone know how to get hold of anyone at i-websolutions? For weeks now it's probably been easier to get an audience with the Pope but their main server has been down for most of the day and it's giving me (and others) no end of grief.

Asking here was a last resort as I know there's a few people here who use them for hosting.

Unfortunately i-web don't reply to emails, reply on their own forums or respond to support tickets so I'm at my wits end

Time to switch I think.....and I really liked using a local provider with real people that I know (and had met in some of their cases)

Very true - Things cannot be too good for Adam and the boys, they haven't even put anything on their own forums to explain the outage. I am guessing a competitive world is a real battle.

Re: I-websolutions

I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone looking for a reliable competent hosting company to take a look at www.hostforweb.com they are American based but I always get good speeds, brilliant support (you can phone them too) and thanks to the exchange rates the prices are great

Well mines 99.84% total and thats with A server move and Downtime a few months ago where I accidentally trashed the OS.

So that uptime for a major host is pretty crap really.

I don't think it is fair to do any flaming of I-web solutions in Cable Forum, they have their own forum where, presumably, you can berate them unmercifully???

I would love too, but as my email account is hosted on their server and I cannot remember my password I cannot get on.

If they are not providing the service people expect then I see no reason for people not to bring it up here. Just as happens for many other companies not providing the service expected of them.

I'm surprised Adam or Willy - or Phil, even, let alone some ex CF mods, haven't replied to the criticism, but to imply their problems are long standing isn't fair, in my opinion

I can't post on it though.

I'm sure I'd registered before, ages ago, but it doesn't recognise any of my email addresses when I try a password recovery.

Tried to re-register, & failed, as the CAPTCHA image doesn't load.

Besides, even if I could post there, dunno if anyone would actually reply, going by some of the thread & posts there & here of people not getting replies to emails, threads, support tickets, etc.

UK2 has been down all day, & although it's on their status page, there's no mention of it on their forum at all (apart from customers complaining about it), no explanation, no estimated fix time, nothing.

If you've got kids allow one of them to be abducted - apparently it speeds the process up.

The not replying to tickets or email has always been an issue and I have been with them 2 years. I am just too lazy to leave. As long as its within this sites T&Cs I would of thought anything is allowed to be discussed here.
