thank god I never bough into this.

I was thinking of it, you guys said it was a decent host... I could not afford it at the time.

I eventually contacted someone through email using their site and I was waiting to hear back, but I never did, that was 2-3 months ago.

so glad I never pursued it.

although I will still need a server soon.

I'm trying to get some uptime on UK2 by going straight to the people who host the server itself, all they've told me so far is that the server is down "for a specific reason" which they can't disclose but they have to take a few things into consideration prior to taking any action.

If I had to tell a third party that their provider had gone bust without bothering their ar$e telling people it's probably the way I'd put it.

I'd SERIOUSLY recommend anyone who has anything hosted on any other i-web server, get it moved elsewhere as soon as possible.

Well if this carries on then it looks like a lot of people will be looking for new reliable hosts. I was already looking to use Google apps for handling the email side of things but this is making me think even harder about moving hosts complete. I-Web were reasonably cheap but their communication and reliability sucks.

Is there anyway this could be stickied? I know it's not strictly to do with cableforum but as I remember it was through this forum that i-web touted most of it's customers so it'd be handy for people who want to find out what's going on.
