I run my own VPS now, least that way i'm guaranteed a fast server
If you're looking to host html stuff, images etc, but no heavy programs like forums/galleries, then a standard host would be good for you.
A good, cheap, UK host I had for quite a while, was webmania.co.uk (Think that's the address)

Not at the moment although we do run specials from time to time and one should be coming up shortly to herald the release of new services we will be implementing and a total redesign of our homesite.

Host with me £2 for the domain and free hosting unless you burst over 100mbps

I sell shared websites with cPanel from £2 PCM / £20 PA
I am re-vamping my website right now, but in a week or so it will be back up and running ready to take online orders

I'm not a cPanel reseller, I just hapen to use it on the servers I use for shared hosting because my customers prefer it to Plesk.

I use these guys, they are quite good in responding to problems and I have the gold linux package, hosts a forum and still space for ftp sharing.
Domain name free for the first year (.com) two years (.co.uk)
