Backgrounds / Good ones though
Ive got a few pics here I want for a Background for a page I am doing. Trouble is (and yes ive looked). I cant seem to find any pictures like the ones attached that will eveny spread over the Webpage i am building.
They sort of block together (Tiled).
I want either a rose background or a heart one. All the ones ive seen look tacky. I want a nice one that looks real.
Is there any sites out there? Or maybe a way i can stop it from tiling but i dont want it stretched either so it looks abnormal

Re: Backgrounds / Good ones though
Why not do an image search and specify large images? Could even image search for rose wallpaper or hearts wallpaper to make sure you get a big enough image to resize to your needs.

Hearts image

Re: Backgrounds / Good ones though
Thanx Paul. However id doesnt matter what size the image is, it still tiles itself as a background for the page, just in bigger tiles.

Re: Backgrounds / Good ones though
How big is your page? One image I linked to is 1024x768????
1280x1024
Make a page too big and it's a pain to load and even more of a pain to navigate.

Re: Backgrounds / Good ones though
The page has no definition. Im using Macromedia MX.
Its going to be about 5000 word limit so it will be big enough. Inc Jpegs.
A desktop wallpaper background ends up tiled on the page as a background for my webpage.
Did you understand i want the roses as a background for my webpage?

Re: Backgrounds / Good ones though
so the image width is ok? is it just from top to bottom that tiles?
if so, why not get the image of the background to not move, and let your text move on top......
only you can decide what image you need to use for your web page background, I personally would go for an image that is just visible, with white background, therefore, you dont have to worry about the image being too bright.
