Can only access the site through Proxy
Hey all, well after racking my brains, and clearing cookies, emptying temp internet files several times, i can only get to this site via a proxy. Without it i cant access the site at all.
I get a page cannot be displayed in IE
and in FF
The connection has timed out
The server at Cable Forum is taking too long to respond.
* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.
Ive allowed it through my Firewall.

Are Tiscali using transparent proxys? Seems odd that the site WILL work with a proxy, and not without!?

proxies are completely taken off from Virgin Media now, no one in virgin media will advice to add proxy as it is not gonna work, if its working ur luck.

Well i emailed them this morning, just got to wait for a reply. Im still using a proxy for access at the mo.
