Question Sending virus files to AWIL Software

Hi people, i want to send some files to AWIL software so that they are aware and can update the virus definations, but everytime i go into the chest and select the said file or files i get a message that the SMTP settings need to be configured, anyone know what these are? I have looked on their support forums, but cant find anything, and i have tried Google.

Im using Avast 4.7 Home Edition.

Re: Sending virus files to AWIL Software

First things first, are you sure it's a virus? If so, how? If you're certain, then I would submit it to Virus Total and see what you get back

http://www.virustotal.com/en/indexf.html

If other vendors identify it as being infected yet Avast doesn't, then submit it via email. According to their COntacts page (http://www.avast.com/eng/how-to-cont...-software.html)
