Re: PayPal Scam?
He sent me $80 of his fake money, so obviously I'm more important than all of you...

Perhaps I'll spend it on some of that viagra I'm always being offered

Re: PayPal Scam?
You could subscribe to the news feeds from this site it has a good database of fake emails including screen dumps of what they actually look like. The news feeds update you soon as a new scam comes to light.
This was the last one they sent concerning HSBC
http://www.millersmiles.co.uk/report/3139
I only come across the site a few days ago, so i'm not sure how reliable it is, but it seems ok upto now.

Re: PayPal Scam?
Matthew Eldridge sent me $64. Because I have two Paypal accounts (one business the other personal) I rely on the fact that Paypal always starts its emails with "Dear *name*" to tell which account it refers to, I was immedately suspicious.
I forwarded it to spoof@paypal.com and they confirmed that it was fake, but none of the links worked so I guessed it had already been reported and delt with.

ReallY! Why? I've not ordered anything from someone by that name and I don't know anyone of that name...
There is a link to go to but I'm damned sure I'm not clicking on it...
|
Why would they send you money if you had ordered something?
