Yet anouther email scam
Just thought I'd give a heads up to anyone receiving this email (attached below)
Its fake, remember to never give out your details to anyone, ever!
Also, is there no way to trace emails like this?

uh-oh, did they have your personal details correct? Getting spam email is one thing, but if they know your personal details, that would really freak me out!

Re: Yet anouther email scam
I just got an email from the so called "billing" department on Ebay. But the most ironic thing about it is this:
I don't even have an account on Ebay!
Fowarded it to spoof@ebay.com though.

W00t! 4-1-9 scammer alert!
Sadly, these people do make money out of scams like this. It works according to a simple formula: Where the greed of the victim is equal to or greater than the stupidity of the scammer, there is money to be made.

There is one word, right at the top of that email, that confirms this is a scam.
Nigeria.
Sad but true. It's not for nothing that advanced fee fraud has become widely known as '419' fraud, after Section 419 of the Nigerian Criminal Code. Most of this stuff originates from there.
If you want to know more about it, and what some people are doing to combat it, there are plenty of belly laughs to be had here: www.419eater.com
