Re: Domain name

Hi,

The only way you can use a domain name with your NTL web space is to use web forwarding, where a frame is used to "hide" the homepage.ntlworld.com address.
For an example, look at http://www.mikebeale.co.uk/ (yes it's naff!!!!) but it shows you web forwarding! The actual web page is on my NTL web space, right click on the page and select properties.

You will not be able to directly point a domain name to you NTL web space.

also NTL webspace does not do 'server side' operations, so php, mysql & frontpage extensions, etc, are not supported.

You could do worse than check out the special deal for CF members at I-Web solutions, who host this site.

look in this link

http://i-websolutions.co.uk/cfhosting.php

- I use them & have nothing but praise...
