I've been trying all day to see if there is a firmware upgrade available for my router/WAP but I just cant seem to get to Dlinks site?

Is it down for everyone else too or is it just me?

Re: dlink.co.uk

Seems to be down. I tried Sam Spade with a different DNS just to check if it was NTL - no DNS entry.

It needs the www at the front, i.e. http://www.dlink.co.uk

Too much trouble to map dlink.co.uk to www.dlink.co.uk I guess

What equipment do you need the firmware for? I can mirror the page/downloads if you want.

That's the only firmware they've listed on their site for your router, 11/5/2004

Cheers mate, I've downloaded and applied it, lets hope it rectifies some of the issues I've had.

Greenies all round I think.

webbo88 is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: dlink.co.uk

Hi funnily enough i have a dlink dsl-604+ and i have the same problem - i cannot access www.dlink.co.uk although i can access www.dlink.com. I have called dlink technical and they also think this is a strange problem and have passed it to their level2 technicians. They think maybe there is a problem with the router. I have 3 machines linked to the router and none of them can access this site, 2 on xp and 1 on 98SE, no software firewalls, am on BtO 1meg service. Connects to site on my old frog (Speedtouch USB). You can ping the site and get a reply from dos prompt and the ping facility on the router. I have nslookuped the site and typed the ip address in and that does not work either.I am well and truly stumped. Can anyone help????? please.....

Re: dlink.co.uk

In my experience, D-Link Australia provides better support:

Keep me informed of what the tec support say, I thought it was my ISP but now you've said that perhaps it's my router?

Edit- Just checked to see if I can access the site now and I can, so maybe it was the original firmware!!
