I read somethin about this a while back ( and yes i do get it in my inbox every damn few days!) and apparently the software comes from Russia and is not original but cdr copies instead ..... Lets face it , if u have a look around the site you'll see that the English wording they use is laughable at best, i know i certainly wouldnt trust this lot with my card details and even then i'd be VERY surprised if you actually recieved any software.

Don't touch them with a pointed stick. If you notice from their blurb, you don't get Windows updates from Microsoft, you get them from their website which sound, as scastle says, well dodgy.

With Microsoft or any well-known software brand, you don't get nothing for nothing.

It's a load of bull. It is not "OEM" software as they say, but warezed/cracked software that has been downloaded off the internet and burnt to a CD and shipped out from deepest Russia or some far flung Eastern European country.

In amongst the crap that lands in my inbox offering me cheap viagra, penis extensions, boob jobs and porn of all descriptions I get quite a few of these. Here is one I got recently...

The crap at the bottom of the email is used to throw the spam filter a bit so that it does not get flagged as spam and so it passes through into the user's inbox.

All of the sites I have visited are all written in broken English, have the same FAQ minus a question or two and have the same testimonials. The design varies however but usually has a bizarre domain name.

Dodgy as fcuk. Don't touch with a 400 foot bargepole - you would be very stupid to do so and would probably end up funding some underworld criminal empire in deepest Siberia too :pp

Thats sounds as you lot were saying... well dodgy. Why do they do it? Its only gonna result in a heavy fine at the end of the day. Oh and that company makes me laugh because in that snippet that is in the first post, they can't even spell professional properly.

Yeah, but there is a good chance they won't get caught, and if they are, they'll probably have made enough money to pay off the fine and still be in profit.
