american airlines, the 'christian' airline ?
an american airlines pilot asked the passengers onboard his flight "are any of you christians on board this plane, please raise your hands".
he then procceded to tell the rest of the passengers. (who werent christians) to "go talk to them and ask them about christianity"
a full scale investigation is underway with regards to this incident.

Re: american airlines, the 'christian' airline ?
I think one of the non-christian passengers (preferably one with a child/children on the plane) should sue American Airlines for harrassment (considering Janet Jackson's impending court case)

Can't see what the fuss is about, it's not as though he asked which passengers had 14 year old virginal daughters he could be introduced to

Yes, I was joking, but seriously, airline pilots should refrain from using the tannoy to convert people. It's just not on, and I hope this bloke gets a good slap on the wrist

i find it funny that he used this method to 'force' his view across people.
he 'abused' his position so therefor he is wrong.

I do. When I purchase an airline ticket I don't expect to have someone's religion rammed down my throat. It's just not the captain's place to make any religious or political comments. You don't expect the person at the suermarket till to try to convert you either do you?

Yeah it could have been worse, he could have said 'you'd better start finding out how to pray 'cos you're gonna need it on this flight'
Seriously though, I think the spokesmans comment sums it up correctly:

"It falls along the lines of a personal level of sharing that may not be appropriate for one of our employees to do while on the job," he said

The pilot should be sacked.
