I can't think of any valid reason anyone would want to have blue flashing lights and alternate flashing headlights on a vehicle if it wasn't to try and pretend their car is an unmarked cop car.

Why do people assume the worst? who's to say that they were only put in the car for the benefit of the video before he put them on his little kids hummer? it was even done on his own driveway.
anyway, the joke was you're supposed to just see the blue side lights first and think it's not so much a problem really, and then see the blue in your face flashing ones later
