As someone who has 4 machines running most of the day, including 2 permanantly, I don't think it will help a great deal

I guess that the benefit you receive, or lack thereof, is only going to be proportional to the amount that you type.

For me that means that I will be more inclined to fully spell words instead of using abbreviations/contractions, and that I will be posting more on various forums (especially here) in order to make sure that I'm making the most of the energy saving potential of my newest purchase.
