This product far exceeds my expectations. I was not only able to read a book while driving, but with my free hands I was able to talk on my cell phone, while also sipping on my latte! For some reason, everyone keeps honking at me and flipping me off, but it doesn't matter, because I am too engrossed in my reading to care. I hope this comes back into stock, my 16 year old cousin could really use one.

That would obviously only work on Motorways - going round bends would make you have to angle your head uncomfortably (imho).

1.0 out of 5 stars Fake customer reviews !!, February 14, 2008

What a bunch of liars! It's very clear that NONE of the reviewers have ACTUALLY USED an Easy Reader while driving. Since it's unfortunately UNAVAILABLE, I built one myself in my home shop and tried to use it during my 50 mile commute to work. So, all you Rocket Scientists out there, guess what happens when you get your book all propped up, and you're reading just fine while driving, but then you come to a friggin' CORNER and ... like ... TURN the steering wheel? The Easy Reader is clamped to the wheel, and it TURNS also, and dumps your book out onto the floor. So there I am in the middle of a TURN, reaching down to grab my book in mid air so I don't lose my place, while simultaneously trying to keep my car on the road, talk on my cellphone and drink my coffee -- all at the same time. Easy Reader only works on straight-aways or gentle turns where you only have to turn the steering wheel a few degrees. Not to worry! I went back to my home shop and invented the Gimbal Mount Easy Reader (TM). I test drove it this morning, and it works SUPER! You can turn your steering wheel all you want, and the pivoting gimbal keeps your book upright no matter what. Your eyes never have to leave your book during turns. The Gimbal Mount Easy Reader rates FIVE ***** STARS! Pre-order yours today! The first production run is sure to sell like hotcakes.
