Yep, if i was sad enough I could swap monitors on my second pc (this one is touchscreen) and leave something pressing against the screen holding the button down.

Well, click on it with the left button, then whilst holding that, click with the right button so the menu appears. Then you can you can carry on with your business (as long as it doesn't mean using the computer  )
