It was me that posted it 1st originally, way back in pre buyout .com days. 
It has since been modified & sent to Sky/BT etc, etc.
Just put "ntl cretins" in Google & see.
No offence, but theis letter is history, rather than news.

Reminds me of a question I asked earlier but got no response.
This site is not run by NTL nor Telewest. But it has proved invaluable to me in getting my homepage up and running. It is a shame that such a knowledge base is not acknowledged by NTL.
So:
1) Who does run this forum, and who pays for it?
2) Why do NTL not publicise it or acknowledge it formally?

My personal view is they have no control over us or the information we publicise so whilst they generally acknowledge the help this site gives, they will not formally do so.
