be fair, he was a South African or American or Canadian, depending on the point he was making 
sorry can't comment on the clip as our corporate firewall blocks it, but caravans should only be allowed on the roads between midnight & 6am

Another myth, the recent experiment which restricted caravans to the inside lane of the M5 in the Bristol area proved that it made no difference to traffic flow whatsoever, and was abandoned. There is nothing wrong with a well matched outfit. When I towed I could comfortably maintain the maximum permitted speed up or down hill. The main cause of hold ups on motorways is the sheer weight of traffic and HGV's trying to overtake other HGV's.
In fact the only time I can remember a queue of traffic behind me was many years ago on a winding single track road in Hampshire, but then I was stuck behind some old ****** in a Morris Minor.
