Apologies from 118 :(
I must apologise to the British public for the new 11 88 88 adverts about to hit your screens any day....I had a sneak preview of them today and they will annoy you......
Instead of the 3 'superhero' type cartoons, we now have 3 blokes dressed up on a stage as if in a musical singing "11 88 88" to the tune of "here we go, here we go, here we go..."

You can't tell, they're dressed up like the superheros! You'll find out soon enough....

A rib-tickling fusion of the two best ads of the year - the 118 blokes and the Honda conveyor belt. Good stuff ad guys.

Should have said "I stole this from an email from www.fhm.com"

That's a pretty class advert!
Off topic note though - does anyone know where you can get a full-version of that Honda ad online?

I must have had my head buried in the sand coz I hadn't realised that 192 directory enquiries was ending this month. There now seem to be a range of private services all starting with 118.
I found a list of directory enquiry services here
and a list of their current prices here
::Looks at tariffs::
You can even get directory enquiries in Welsh! Based in Sheffield.

You guys have the weirdest system. We just dial 411 for Directory Assistance in our own area code, and <area code>-555-1212 for directory assistance in other area codes. Each call is 85 cents.
