For anyone struggling with the Swedish technology, may I helpfully add that the UK equivalent to Svinto is Brillo easily obtainable locally.

Whilst the Swedes have 30x the bandwith, we do however have 30x the abrasive HD restorers. Also, there is no need for 10w/40 - 20w/50 or WD40 will be fine for most drives.

By the way, that reminds me, if anyone wants to know how to re-format a CD Rom it's really very easy....

Take your CD and, with a Brillo pad, apply firm pressure and rub in a circular manner...!
