If its a standard install you could look in C:Program files/Microsoft Office/Office 10/ for MSOFFICE.exe as thats the shortcut bar tool for office XP or you are looking for the OSB.exe (I think) either way if you find and run it the software will ask if you want it to start automatically next time.
We need to know your O/S and variant of office really thoough.
