Re: what are you watching right now
Love Sci-Fi - Love Star Trek - overall I thought TNG was best - but DSN9 was very good for it's final three series. I watched Voyager but often found it too slow - the same with Enterprise, tho it is getting a bit better in series 3.
The best TNG story for me was "Times Arrow", followed by "Inner Light".
btw - I like the sig sir_drinks_alot

Im not overly fond of TNG, maybe its because its a bit before my time but theres just something about it that doesnt appeal as much to me as it does to other people I know.
My fave would have had to have been Voyayger or the Final series of DS9. DS9 had the best episodes TBH but there wherent many of them, certainly not enough to defeat the well balanced voyager (Voyager had the best season finales aswel, 'year of hell', 'End Game' etc. )
None of the above compare to the might that is Babylon 5 or SG-1 though

Um, lets see - I am a member of Team Digiguide, a moderator on their site & provide & support a portion of their listings servers (for which I get paid).
So, can I (or will I) tell you how to get it for free ? - take a wild guess at my answer

Yep, two excellent programmes and I would rate both above Star trek. However - I was very disappointed at the way the shadow war ended in B5 - what a let down !
And yes SDAL - I have seen V - both the original mini series and the proper series.

What can I say...... Fantastic, allthough the ending did let it down quite a bit. I think I would like to see a remake made of this in a similar way to the recent Battlestar Galactica mini-series. Though with fewer changes, I actually preferred the changes in BSG but I dont think V needs as much attention as BSG did.

I can recommend paying for digiguide, use it all the time.
Congratulations Pem and DIgiguide team on a great product.
P.s. 'Inner Light' is one of my fave TNG episodes too.

as was I, it had a lot of potential, allthough the CGI in the final episode of the shadow war was fantastic, loved the three way battle aswel when the Vorlons also turned against the humans.
I did quite like when they 'liberated' Earth aswel though it seemed to be over far to quickly, especially since the story had been built up over more than 2 years.

Re: what are you watching right now
How sad am I, V was shown in August 1984, I remember cos the Olympics were on at the same time. I can't actually remember how it ended, was it something to do with the half human/alien child ???
