Sacrilege, there's only one 'The Avengers'!

(Or maybe two...)

re: The Avengers (Marvel) ["Avengers Assemble" in the UK]

Both came out close to same time, The marvel team made its debut in The Avengers #1 (Sept. 1963)

The tv series 1961

Got to say, I'd rather be a marvel hero

re: The Avengers (Marvel) ["Avengers Assemble" in the UK]

I saw this last night. 2D, of course - 3D can get stuffed.

I absolutely *loved* it. Awesome film.

Joss Whedon has created the best comic-book superhero film I have ever seen.

Brilliant action scenes, dialogue, and humour all through it. I spent most of the film with a massive grin on my face, and had to resist clapping several times. Myself and the rest of the audience laughed and cheered multiple times throughout the film.

10/10

re: The Avengers (Marvel) ["Avengers Assemble" in the UK]

One of the best bits of dialogue for me involved Captain America and Hulk. You probably know which bit I mean. It was just so random.

Re: The Avengers (Marvel)

Saw this last night too, it was well done. I thought it might disappoint like Spider-Man 3 did by trying to cram too much into one film but they got the mix right.

The next film I'm looking forward to is Prometheus, but that’s not out till June.

Re: The Avengers (Marvel) ["Avengers Assemble" in the UK]

So, I saw it again last night (another late showing like Thursday, to cut down on the kids).

Still awesome

And just like Thursday night, the whole audience loved it too.
