Adele breaks Beatles, Pink Floyd US chart record
I know that some people are not going to like this.

l doubt that there are many artists who's sales stack up against The Beatles apart from a few artists and groups here and there.

Being a solo artist is harder that being in a group, in a group the one thats a friend who can't sing or play is hidden by the others.
Adele can become bigger than Madonna and other solo female artists

I'm not a great fan of Adele, but if the Beatles are the yardstick, then I'd much rather listen to Rolling in the Deep, than to this turgid thing that took top spot in the UK for four weeks. Just listen to it. It's pants on so many levels. It has absolutely nothing going for it.

Do try to take into consideration the era that was released in and then you will realise why.
What amazes me about Adele is that her stalker song "Someone like you" gets played at weddings, do these people not listen to the words or are they just stupid.
