Re: Universal 100 years

Paramount is also 100 years old this year! Both Studios are founded in 1912, however The Independent Moving Pictures Company (IMP) was formed in 1909, in 1912 it merged with other studios to form Universal, Both Universal and IMP were founded by Carl Laemmle who also was head of both IMP and Universal (until the 1930s)
