3D TV advice (Wall Mounting)

I have ordered this from Tesco http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.901-9277.aspx
The wife was talking about having it mounted on the wall but I'm just wondering if there might be a problem with watching 3D by looking up at it when I would have thought you would need a direct horizontal line of sight.

Am I right in thinking it would not work?

Re: 3D TV advice (Wall Mounting)

Go into the store and have look at the ones mounted on the wall
I think you will find you will have to crouch right down i.e. laying on the floor before you loose the 3d effect for one mounted 1.5 m of the floor.
I don't actually own a 3d tv but I don't notice any loss on my 2d wall mounted tv

Re: 3D TV advice (Wall Mounting)

I didn't realise the prices of 3D TVs had fallen so much already!

Re: 3D TV advice (Wall Mounting)

My wife first saw it instore a couple of weeks ago and she said it looked fab. We toyed withthe idea of getting it at £499 but when I saw the £100 reduction I just had to order it.

Thanks for the feedback Scrubbs

Yes,and a 3D Smart player at that. I wonder what apps you get with Phillips. I heard that YouTube is on there but I don't need that as I have it on both my Tivo and my WD Live Hub media player.

Just found this if you would like to see the specs
http://www.p4c.philips.com/files/b/b...05_pss_aen.pdf

If I were to buy it as a stand alone player it would cost me £149.99
