The first one was pants as mst of them were too over the hill to make it convincing so all they could do was ponce about and hope the CGI stuff and big bangs could cover their tracks. The film industry must be desparate if they want to make the same mistake again.

What are you on about??
It was never meant to win an Oscar! It was intended to be a silly, over-the-top brain-dead action film with loads of pointless explosions.
And it succeeded
Awesome film (again, for what it was) and I can't wait for the sequel
