Ken Russell pushed the film making boundaries in an age that was very much experimental ie the WHOs Tommy directed by him, and stanley kubrics clockwork orange,Michael Winner was on Radio Five live this morning talking about his friend ,and he talked about the bits the cinema sensor would not let through very interesting.
RIP Ken Russell i doubt the uk will see the like of this very english eccentric film producer again.
