Re: Adele - Ushi Interview
There is very little on this planet that I cannot stand more than Adele. OK I don't know her personally but she annoys the living brown-stuff out of me. Her music is the most boring, depressing, bland, turgid mess I have ever heard. I get the whole "she's not a stunner but she can sing" thing but whenever her songs come on the radio I instantly have the urge to slit my wrists. Yes, we know he dumped you but for crying out loud woman, get over him and move on!!
Wow, that felt good.

Re: Adele - Ushi Interview
cheers for that, you've just successfully sucked the living daylight out this thread
btw you might be pleased to know her upcoming album is based on a theme thats not related to "boring, depressing, bland, turgid mess"
her raw quality appeals to me, no auto tune going on when shes singings that for sure.

Re: Adele - Ushi Interview
Nobody will say she can't sing. What we object to is her depressing, suicide-inducing music on each radio station every 5 minutes. We object to being constantly told how she doesn't need to flash the flash (we should be grateful for this) to sell her music in each interview. She moans about being single but that's no surprise as no man wants to end up having an entire album written about how rubbish she thinks they were. We should also be grateful the Samaritans don't use her as the on-hold music otherwise the population figure will drop within days.

Re: Adele - Ushi Interview
she comes across as lively though, up for a laugh etc. anyone that listens to her music will want to know a bit more about her and discover she isn't depressed, well may be the wealths carrying her but still, she gives off a good vibe during interviews etc. which should turn peoples heads should they be sucked into thinking everythings doom and gloom after listening to her music.

Re: Adele - Ushi Interview
No, from her music I'd say she gives off the vibe of being boring and depressing. I think it's awesome how she plays up her cockney accent in interviews ("Hello, I'm Ade-eww...") but there's no trace of it in her singing voice.
Trying to sell Adele on to me is the biggest waste of time you could imagine.

Re: Adele - Ushi Interview
cockney or not she seems alright to me. she might share depression via her songs but come on, if she was truly that bad not many people would be that attached to her. i just like her voice, its raw and doesn't need gimmicks.
plus you meaning suicide after listening to her music, if you look at her life you'll see there is hope. she wasn't all that pretty a few years back but now she looks pretty good looking all be with face paint but still, surely theres a whole story there to be noticed rather than just one aspect?

"Looks pretty good looking"? I was deliberately avoiding commenting on her looks and i'll continue to do so i think.
I didn't say she was 'bad'. It's just her music annoys a lot of people..

Re: Adele - Ushi Interview
Someone mentioned it earlier. Overexposure mixed in with depressing, oxygen-stealing music.

Or just do not listen to main stream radio stations?
