SyFy - Vastly improved content?!
Anyone noticed that SyFy has improved considerably over the last few months? I gave up watching it, as all it used to be was repeat after repeat and sometimes even whole seasons in one day!
However things have gotten much better, I am finding myself recording more and more of it's content. Loving a lot of the new series such as The Cape and Lost Girl, along with old favourites like A Town Called Eureka.

Re: SyFy - Vastly improved content?!
I started watching the Cape, had high hopes of a decent super hero series.
Alas dashed, written for 5 year olds, and not particularly bright 5 year olds.

Re: SyFy - Vastly improved content?!
They have actually been good for quite some time they have shown a lot of new shows and some not long after their US air dates. Also one of the few channels to have their DOG right in corner and the very top of the screen.
While watching the latest Eurkea episode I did think that their HD picture leaves a lot to be desired and they seem to hardly ever do 5.1.

Re: SyFy - Vastly improved content?!
If you love SyFy, then check out the content on FX and Horror Channel.
FX have Season 2 of The Walking Dead coming up, and reruns of Taken and The Triangle. Horror Channel (despite its name) have loads of Sci-Fi reruns too (The 4400, Firefly, Dead Zone).
Those 3 channels have become my favourites. I should thank TiVo here for alerting me to the stuff on the Horror Channel, I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise.

Re: SyFy - Vastly improved content?!
I occasionally find something to watch on the Horror channel. I cannot remember the last time I watched anything on SyFy.
As for The Cape.............

Re: SyFy - Vastly improved content?!
No need to tag that. The Cape was cancelled after only one (half) season.
Lost Girl has been renewed, and the second season starts in Canada this week. Hopefully it won't be too long before it comes to Syfy UK.
Eureka has been cancelled. There is one season left, due to broadcast on Syfy US (& soon after Syfy UK?) next year.
Warehouse 13 goes from strength to strength, and has been renewed yet again. The fourth season is due next year, plus there's another Christmas special this year.
To look out for: Alphas has not yet been shown on Syfy UK, but hopefully will be soon.

Struggled with the first few episodes of this but it does get better which is generally the opposite of how things normally are with TV series's.
