Don't know if World War Z has been mentioned but I can't wait for it. ........as long as it's as good as the books

It's been delayed slightly because

A total of 85 machine guns, rifles and pistols to be used on filming scenes in Hungary were confiscated by counter-terrorism customs officers in Budapest, Hungary after being flown in from London. The props, which are owned by an English company, were to be used in filming. The Hungarian authorities said the guns could be activated by simply removing screws filling the end of the barrels. Hungarian law requires weapons to be deactivated only if the process of making them live is irreversible. Weapons supervisor, Bela Gajdos, on the movie commented that a permit for the weapons had been issued by Hungarian police. Reports claimed that main actor Brad Pitt was "furious" at the seizure but producers have said it has not delayed filming.

Just seen a trailer on IMDB for it and it makes me feel old that a film that I remember being released has been remade

OOo, okay so I saw a trailer for a trailer, but that wasn't the point of my post, which was about a film that I remembered being released, being remade ...but it did show some of the film to get a taster...

Re: Films for 2012
There seems to be less and less time between remakes lately.. the last decade saw '70s remakes of Pelham123 and Assault precint13 then all of a sudden we've moved into the '80s/'90s with The fog, batman, the thing and now Total Recall

Re: Films for 2012
This looks good from the trailer (trailer of a trailer? Who cares? It won't make much difference to how the world rotates )
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1862079/
Before anyone pulls me up on this minuscule detail, the US release date is June 2012, but I couldn't see a UK release date, so it may or may not fall into films for 2012

I've watched 3 different version of pelham 123,I remember them as
Walter Matthau one
Vincent D'Onofrio one
Denzil and John one
I still like the first
