'Columbo' was one of the best detective series on Tv and survived the cutthroat 'seasons' in American shows, and that was because of the way Peter Falk, played him.
To my knowledge there were some american cop shows that came and went, but Columbo always survived. RIP Peter

Lol! Mate Columbo was one of the only things i would watch on TV all of those years ago! R.I.P Peter Falk. ps Did he have a wonky eye or was it just the way he stood with his cigar?

Never was a columbo fan but he also made some good films..
As for his eye it wasn't wonky it was missing as he lost it at the age of three.. Many don't know he was also great at comedy.. Was just reading his wiki page and this made me laugh about his playing baseball.. "I remember once in high school the umpire called me out at third base when I was sure I was safe. I got so mad I took out my glass eye, handed it to him and said, 'Try this.' I got such a laugh you wouldn't believe."
