BBFC ban a horror flick that imho is only likely to be watched by the horror die hards and would likely have died a death on dvd / blue ray from lack of interest though likely now banned will be downloaded and whatched by many

yes i know its not been maid yet but surely we should be saying if you make that and you try to bring it here we will treat you like any other people making films of underage poeple in sexual situations

You have to admit it does just sound obscene for the sake of being obscene. Just the description is making me feel sick.
Though that is besides the point I suppose. I think the real reason this will be banned is that it is classed more as porn than horror and it violates several of the banned categories of porn in this country. So like many other films you never hear of this should have been banned anyway. I think its only getting attention because of the shock value of the first.

The BBFC tends to ban films quite rarely to be fair. I perceive them as a organisation that does take a liberal view and tends to allow as much as it can. If they ban something I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt on it, especially considering they took time to give their reasons and it does sound as if the film went too far.

The second film hasn't been made yet but it would be illegal if it went ahead. I am unsure of the details but I imagine the plot was written before casting and given the actresses age they will cut out the nudity from the script. Not a big deal. They won't ago ahead as planned certainly.

I thought it's not so much a case of banning a film as refuse to grant a licence unless they re-edit to exclude all scenes and situations not covered by current BBFC regulations and guidelines?.

A film would only be classed as banned or rejected for a release licence if the producers\editors try to get it passed in a format that does not fall within the guidelines of what the BBFC feel can be passed for public release. In theory they could setup a streaming web server and release films that way depending of the laws of the land where that server is located of cause.

But in thinking I love me lesser known horror films so gonna check out where I might get hold of the first Human Centipede film.

Oh I dont know, seen a trailer for the first 1 so may check it out when I get the time to order it . As some films are so bad they are actually good, lost count at how many times I have watched the original uncut version of Zombie Flesh Eaters!.

HC1 wasn't that good a film. The idea of it was better than the finished film. It's been on SyFy a few times this year already too.

HC2 was only planned for a DVD release and never a cinema release so that article has it's facts slightly wrong in that respect. However I think they have gone too far with the second one, upon reading the plot synopsis.
