To be honest with u i know this may sound very daft i was thinking the other day i wonder how long it is before some of the cast of Last of the summer wine start to die. A lot of the actors loved the show and were in it for so long they kind of lived for it and then the BBC cancelled it even though it was still popular getting as much as 7 million viewers even in the repeats.

Me too, all the actors I knew from TV and film over the years seem to be dying or dead now.

Only two members of the cast left now are Capt Peacock (Frank Thornton, 90) and Mr (Cuthbert) Rumbold (Nicholas Smith, 77)
