Re: The Apprentice 2008
I didn't think the winner was chosen until the day before the final is broadcast. Granted the finalists work for Sir Alan in the final weeks so I take the spoilers with a pinch of salt.

In fact, two versions of the final boardroom sequence are filmed — showing each of the finalists winning. Between filming and transmission — a period of about six months — both finalists work for Sir Alan in temporary jobs.
Sir Alan does not reveal his decision about who is he is going to hire until shortly before transmission, and this determines which ending is shown. The BBC has issued contradictory statements about the decision procedure.
The first version of events is that Sir Alan makes his decision on the day that the final boardroom sequence is filmed, based on the contestants' performance in the final task, and keeps it secret until just before transmission.[26] The second version is that Sir Alan decides after the six-month trial period.[27]
Former contestant Saira Khan also stated that "His final decision is not based on the programme that people see. His final decision is based on these two people [who] have been working with him for the six months."[28]

Re: The Apprentice 2008
I'm glad Lee won, he deserved it over the whole 12 weeks.
I was hoping when he found out he won that he would jump up and shout 'come on, get in there!!' like he does, but he didn't lol

Re: The Apprentice 2008
I can't believe Lee's reaction........total stunned silence.
I was a expecting a bit of a reaction at least - even a "Thank you Sir Alan!" but nothing!

Re: The Apprentice 2008
I am glad Alex didnt win. It wasn't like he even came up with the bottle concept, although the advert after that and evolving the Dual brand was very good, it was the designers that came up with the bottle idea. I think that was a significant reason their team didnt win (other than the cost)
