Trust me, you got out at the right time. The end of season 2 signalled a turning point for the worse, and season 3 was thought to be as bad as BSG could possibly get, but season 4 has somehow managed to reach a new low. It's no wonder that the show has lost nearly 70% of its viewership and that this will be its final season. It seems to me that most viewers are just hanging on to see how it ends. Ronald D Moore has disappeared so far up his own youknowwhat it isn't even funny, and unfortunately for us, he took BSG with him.

I liked season 3 & 4... not always as good as the first two, but still IMO far better than most other shows at the time.

Well the ending was certainly unexpected. Its actually made me want to see the final 11 eps. Did anyone else notice that the final (12th/5th) cylon was not in the fleet ?

Me too, a good scene is always worth paying homage to. On the other hand they didn't actually show anything that I could recognise, unlike the original.

Maybe see the events of the mini-series and season 1 from the cylon point of view? Could include the mission Adama was on were they crossed the treaty line before the cylons attacked, the build up to the attack (including number 6 and Baltar), into the attack itself
