Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Someone in the BBC really doesn't like Dr Who do they?
I thought the anti-Who people had long gone.
John Simm as the worst Master ever (maybe they were short on electricity at Broadcasting House so wired up a dynamo to Delgado's coffin)
Martha "duhhhh" Jones finally removed only to be replaced by Donna "single braincell" Noble.
So season 4 is really likely to be the final one then?
I mean, we have the second best Doctor of all time, and they seem to be trying hard to spoil it.

Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Episode titles for series four (from http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...47&postcount=1 )
Quote:
1. Oh God, not her again!
2. Dalek Caan? Me, bovvered?
3. Doctaaaaah.
4. Doctaaaaah Part Two.
5. Come back Martha, please.
6. No really Martha, we're missing you.
7. Thank God, Martha's back.
8. New Earth? Leave her there.
9. Return to the Satan Pit - leave her there then.
10. Donna Kebab (a doctor-lite episode)
11. Kill Donna (directed by Quentin Tarantino)
12. Kill Donna Pt II
13. Damn, she had a fob watch.

Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Very funny, but as I suspected, some people are too anxious to judge her likely performance based on her sketch show rather than her (IMO) rather good effort as Donna last Christmas.

I loved McCoys Doctor. Maybe as I grew up watching him the most when I was younger.

I think he started of crap (down to the scripts - remember Bertie Basset ) but once he started showing the darker side of the Doctor he got more interesting

Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Admittedly, when Billie was first announced as the Doctor's companion, I felt like...
... but she actually turned out to be very good.
Tate, however, I feel won't be.
I find her way too irritating. I despise her "comedy", & the mere site of her annoys me.
I wasn't impressed by the last Christmas special, especially Tate's annoying character.
I really am not looking forward to suffering that same annoying character for an entire series.

I liked him.
Him and Ace were a great combination, beaten only by Jon Pertwee/Jo Grant and [IMO] just beating Tom Baker/Sarah (Jane) Smith.
