Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Yeah so I can see
Do you switch off the program as soon as the end credits starts? If not then you willingly watch a spoiler then. Do you write to the BBC and say how dare you show us a spoiler? I bet you do not . But your happy to complain at a posted picture here when chances are not all of them are in it
Is it anal retention your suffering from

Yeah, after I'd seen what it does it made perfect sense that the text of the spoiler should be visible when you quote - it just wasn't something I'd given much thought to previous to that.

Bit you added after you'd thought about it for a while:

Actually I do change the channel when the program has finished.
If you read my post you'll see that my issue with the picture was its size. I then made a comment about spoilers which, as it happens, was only partially aimed at the picture.
More fully it was aimed at the combination of pictures and comments that had been made about them. Links to the articles were fine, but then the discussion surrounding the articles made it pretty clear what some of their content was.
And finally, the unnecessary (but seemingly obligatory these days) personal dig:

Nope, I just (apparently) have a different opinion on some things to some of the other posters here. Shocker, who'd have thought it, someone coming to a 'discussion' forum with a different opinion.
Seriously zing, I've got no problem with explaining my opinions or justifying my thought processes - I'd thought better of you though than to sling in a cheap shot like that, the fact that I disagree with you doesn't necessarily make me wrong.

What we need is some new, calm, level headed mods to sort out fights like this.
Oh, hang on ..... <looks at applications and wonders ........>

Lucky for me I remained calm throughout and didn't use any of the naughty words I was thinking then

Besides, that wasn't a fight There weren't crowds of people standing in a circle around us chanting 'Fight, Fight, Fight, Fight.....'

Dude there is nothing wrong with you having different opinions to others as long as you also accept others have different pictures to you. I do not and still do not see the picture as a spoiler however I do concede the size was a tad large (which does make it look good on my desktop)
I thought the anal retention thing with a wink would have been taken as a joke sorry you didnt see it as such ,I just thought it went with what you had said . You will if you look see me admit on a few occassions to being retentive on certain things and I do not see it as an insult
