Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Russell T Davies is to step down as executive producer of Doctor Who, the BBC has announced. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/7411177.stm
"Davies is credited with breathing new life into the show which he brought back to television screens in 2005. Bafta-winning writer Steven Moffat will succeed Davies as lead writer and executive producer of the fifth series of Doctor Who. "

Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
I am sure this will be a really good thing, although I like the fact that RTD brought Who back, its still a little off in places.
Moffat has written some of the best Who eps ever and putting him in charge should lead to the show improving in quality even more.

He doesnt take over until series 31 (new series 5) though, in 2010. RTD will be doing the 2009 specials.

Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Anyone else see the trailer that was one BBC1 at 6.45pm tonight for the rest of the series??
Wow, so much stuff, planets vanishing, Rose, The Tardis on fire, the Doctor travelling through a time vortex with his screwdriver, lots of Daleks, more Rose and a shadowy figure hiding in the shadows bottom half looked like a dalek top halve too dark to see but there was clearly a blue eye and a couple of other lights. Yes its Davros everyone
See it here

Re: Doctor Who Season 4 (and xmas special)
Saturday's episode Scary - very scary. All those kids with a fear of the dark, now justified - every planet has the Vashta Nerada [you would not believe how much Googling it took to find that spelling], living on road kill. I spent years terrified of the dark, telling myself it was in my head. Suppose I best order several dozen drumsticks then
Oh and don't ask me why, possibly because I'm an IT guy, but when they said, "x lives saved, no survivors", I thought, "Must be a lot of CDs somewhere then - with a big burner". Looks like I may be right

will be good to see Davros again although I thought he was imprisoned in the Tardis some time ago?
Any hypothesis on who Alex Kingston is playing?

She's the woman who said her and the Doctor haven't met yet and she has his book full of spoilers.

Davros was blown up in Rememberance of the Daleks by the 7th Doc. That was the last time he was seen. Even then he no longer had his body.
Well so far it looks like she might be his Mrs from the future, lol. Bet there will be a big twist though.

I said that as well while watching it - that it means they have been saved (uploaded) into the library.
