Compared to Battle Royale it was total poo. The acting, script etc was dire, but the story was ok but it was stolen from Battle Royale.
It's ok if you're 14 and like that kind of thing though (and WWE or whatever it is). I saw the trailor and it did look quite good, but when I watched it with a few mates on my recommendation I was quite embarrassessed by it all.

Agreed, It's not in the same class as Battle Royalle, but as a no brainer flick after a few beers, I found it quite enjoyable.

He didn't mean it's "Hard Boiled 2"... he said "Hard Boiled x 2" as in the action times two.
Although Hard Boiled has had a sequel...albeit in videogame form...
