Xsara and Picaso
Parents have decided to get new cars, currently mum drives a saxo, and dad drives a xantia (both 5 years old)
They're going for a xsara and picaso.
Anyone got one and can give a review?
They're going for the 2.0HDI

Re: Xsara and Picaso
xsara is a nice car... my dad had an estate about 2 years ago which i used to drive as well... was a really nice car. Had two minor problems with it:
1. the rear windows would always steam up, unless you put the air conditioning on. If you had left the air conditioning on, then turned it off, the windows would then all steam up.
2. the fuel tank burst when a stone bounced off the motorway and hit it, but from what i have heard this has been recalled since and fixed.
Xsara is a nice drive, and very comfy too! my dad thought about buying a picasso, but decided to go for a renault senic instead

Re: Xsara and Picaso
Poor old Picasso.Reduced to being a car product name instead of the greatest artist of the 20th Century.
Incog.

Right! Slap,slap,slap,slap.
You will not decry Picasso's <slap> position<slap> as the<slap>foremost<slap> artist of<slap> the 20th century<THUMP>.
Giger had no versatility compared to Picasso.<punch>

Picaso to me is far too pretentious, if you take his famous style. His other works aren't too bad, but nothing to write home about.
Take a person, paint them as 2D geometrical shapes, and mess it around a bit. Doesn't take that much skill
Dhali spent too much time *trying* to be surreal.
Giger just produces beatiful pieces of art (being able to play "spot the genitalia" with it is just an added bonus)
It's not symbolic, like dhali's bayonet, or what other artists try and do, it's just art.

Re: Xsara and Picaso
I think before we get too I think we had better take this another thread.
Giger is OK but to claim him as the greatest 20 century artist well pff!!!!
It's spelt Dali and I'm not defending him as I don't understand him.I just like his work.

Re: Xsara and Picaso
My dad has the 1.6i and I'm impressed with it. Have to admit I'm drooling over the thought of a 2.0HDI.
