Re: Anyone hungry?
funny enough we just got back from a really nice meal
canapes of smoked salmon, cream cheese & lumpfish roe on wheat toast
shell on mussels in a parsley cream sauce
steamed layers of salmon fillet and roulade cheese
naturally smoked haddock with mustard baked savoy cabbage
seared tuna loin marinaded in chili & garlic & sesame oil
roasted Mediterranean vegetables
a green salad, with lots of spring onion
various breads
fresh summer fruits with a chocolate /biscuit/ nut topping - double cream, craime fraiche, low fat yogurt, to finish, according to taste.
- much nicer

Re: Anyone hungry?
We dump all our waste in the sea, along with all manner of chemicals and radioactive materials. And people still eat fish.

no, not even any organic ones, made from carrots
it was all real, courtesy of a very good friend who has access to samples & ideas which would otherwise be thrown away

there were also 'perfect' potatoes
- these are made by cooking new potatoes in their skins, then combining them with butter and as many herbs & spices beginning with 'C' , that you can, cumin, coriander, caraway, for example

Re: Anyone hungry?
I wonder with these restaurants you're expected to leave the tip?

Re: Anyone hungry?
If anyone is going to China, perhaps they could visit and report back to us? Anything hard to swallow? Anything come over you? And so on.
