DIY Help
Anyone got any tips on how to remove stickers from a painted door? doesn't matter if the paint comes off as its being redone anyway. Some of them have been on a long time so appear to be well and truly stuck! Tried the air dryer technique but thats not taken them off much. Sooooo any suggestions would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

Re: DIY Help
How about just sanding it down if you plan to paint it again anyway?

Isopropyl alcohol usually gets the sticky residue off.

WD40 is the only stuff I can remember which would remove the nasty stuff used for sticking covermount disks, it is worth a try - paint might not stick to any wood it soaks into, very well, though, beware

Re: DIY Help
Petrol actually is really good at removing glue residue. Don`t smoke when you are using it though.!

Yes, but you use it to clean stuff...you're not meant to inhale it.
