Having never used this before, I have dumb question!

Does it dry to a white of clear finish?

I think it is white but it is that long since I have used it I may be wrong

iirc.....it depends......I have used some that dries grey, and my chippie has just used some that dries red

Dunno mate the only time I've used it is to put a curtain rial up.

Last time I used it the stuff was grey and stays that way. Screwfix do a similar product that is white though
