Be careful what you wish for.
My wife bought me a bottle of 40 year old Glen Grant for my 40th (who'd a thought), and to modern tastes, it is a bit fiery.
However, if you do get a bottle, happy to help you taste it

Nah, it's a waste of a good single malt - if you put it in Teachers or Bells, now worries.
I keep a bottle of blend in for people who like to put mixers in their whiskey - everybody's different, but not with my single malt
