Wanna fight
Okay you are going to think I am nuts for this.
I have a need to have a fight. I've never actually had a proper fist fight with anybody in my life and I feel I am missing out on something.
Question is, how do I start a fight but avoid ending up dead or glassed? I sort of want the danger but at the same time some limits.
Somebody has got to suggest karate or something. I don't want to internalize and then break things. I want to have a proper fight. Is there anything other than boxing (gloves put me off)?
This is really important to me at the moment for some reason so I'd appreciate your advice on how to start.

Re: Wanna fight
Dont be so stupid. Fighting should always be a last resort if you go out and cause trouble then you deserve all you get

Re: Wanna fight
You either take on a legal combat in a controlled environment where there are rules, and that does mean marital arts, boxing thai boxing or whatever, or you are outside the law, anything can happen including you getting seriously hurt and / or locked up.

Re: Wanna fight
If your really desperate run into a wall a few times then smack your head on the floor 5 or 6 times dont stop till theres blood then you might feel like you done a few rounds with me when I was fit a few years ago lol lol

This thread will be watched closely, I can't see it lasting very long. Let's steer clear of the personals thanks.

Re: Wanna fight
Try cage fighting or UFC,
Pretty much no rules.
http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...52919319&q=UFC
This is probably the closet thing to a real fight in a controlled environment you can get.
Although i would not recommend it if you like your teeth.
I just hope this fighting feeling passes without you or anyone else getting hurt.
Keep safe
Ryan

Re: Wanna fight
I knew I'd get something wrong.
I don't mean I want to start a real fight in the street just for kicks.
I mean I want the sensation of the experience. A controlled environment where no-one really gets hurt too much is ideal.
It's about experience. It's something most people have done and I never have.

The you need to train. No trainer in any style will put you in the ring unless your fit and ready for it (unless he is a numpty) There is nothing like the buzz of full contact.I dunno but a few months ago I mentioned wanting to do it again and im in the process of training will take a long time but I will feel the buzz again

Do you mean boxing? Assume you do. Maybe the gloves are good idea after all.
How do I get started, where should I go? I am 34 and not even close to being described as fit, but I am healthy.
Am I likely to end up brain damaged? (No comments please from posters who think I already am for wanting to do this).

Re: Wanna fight
I was a kickboxer and will (hopefully) be again.Gloves are a good idea lol
First thing get fitter cycle walk weight train pressups etc then find a club and do it.Make sure you find a full contact club and not any light contact sports style lol

Re: Wanna fight
Nobody 'needs' a fight - I don't know where you get that idea from.
Perhaps you should try pro wrestling if you want to get physical - I can recommend some good wrestling schools
