Garden Strimmer Broken
I've got a strimmer and the first time i used it the plastic wire stuff it cuts with fell out at one side, and i've used it twice since, once today and the other side fell out so it's useless!
Is this a common thing with strimmers or was i doing something wrong? Is it broken forever now? If it is, well what a load of crap!

Difficult to say without being certain of exactly what you're describing. What do you mean 'fell out'? Did the entire spool of nylon line come out of the spinning head, or has the visible length of line simply broken off?

I can't see any spool! I assumed it was just two seperate bits of fishing wire type stuff in the spinning head and they flew out while i was using it, one by one!
I'm a bit scared of it so i didn't delve too far

There are normaly two types with the nylon line, one that stores it all in a spool and you tap the bottom of it on the ground to release it and the other type that you take the cover off the bottom and thread your own cut to length bit in, real easy to do just make sure you unplug the bugger first.

The nylon line should have been sticking out of a black plastic drum through two small holes. Inside the drum should be a spool of spare nylon. Go have another look .... and let us know what model the strimmer is while you're at it!

Oh deary me, that was so simple...... i feel dumb now 
There was a spool thingy inside with more of the wire stuff, that was clever!!
Mind you, if you guys hadn't told me that it'd have spent the rest of the summer in the shed wrote off as broken forever 
You learn something new everyday on CF
