What you doing up at this time of night?
Well? I think this has been done before (you know you spend too much time on CF when you can remember the threads for yester-year) but not recently.
I can't sleep. I took the day off work (will have to face the Inquisition tomorrow) due to the flu and spent most of the day in bed. So now I can't sleep. Can only afford to take one day off, so no matter how I feel, I'm working tomorrow. Got to be up at 08:00. I'm currently sipping grape juice and web surfing.

Wishing I had enough sense to get some sleep
Also - googling around, wondering why toilet is less proper than loo.

To say - apparently a gentleman would never be heard saying toilet. I can understand lavatory being its superior, but loo? Ridiculous

Re: What you doing up at this time of night?
Weird. Would depend on the area, culture and class. I know in a pub my dad would say, "Just off to the back". My mum would say loo. I'd say, "Just off for a ****", unless with my parents, in which case it would be the loo. Does it matter??

Re: What you doing up at this time of night?
Probably so given all the blowing. Will have to stuff some vaseline up it later. I use a tea towel for the blowing - saves on tissues.
So - anyone else up late?

eeeeeeeeew!
I (often) cannot sleep due to coughing fits, hence why I am up now. I'd rather sit up on the pooter for a few hours til my dearest gets up, rather than wake him up every ten minutes.

Re: What you doing up at this time of night?
Is it sleep apnea?
The tea towel is thoroughly hot washed prior to being used for drying the dishes

Re: What you doing up at this time of night?
I don't think it's that - I cough lots when I laugh sometimes, it's like I'm choking!? I don't smoke - maybe it's cos I eat too much dairy or fat... I will have to go to the doc about it I guess.
I use loo roll instead of tissues - it's cheaper!
