Gays kissing in public
I'm sure there was a mention in a thread before about gay guys kissing in public, but I wondered how many of you felt.
I was thinking about it after a near incident last night. (no i wasn't thinking about kissing a guy) There are two very effeminate gays who go in my local pub, I have no problem with the other gays who go there but these two give me the creeps. (notice I didn't say willies)
There was a near incident last night with the pair in question and a group of five gipsies who came in, I'm not even sure how the gipsies got in but they didn't stay long because they probably sensed the vibes. As soon as they got their drinks they started giving the two gays a bit of attitude, obviously thinking they were outnumbering them 5 to 2, but I guess they liked the odds until they started looking around and could see something like 30 guys looking at them.
I do think however the 2 gay guys attract trouble, they were apparently warned a while ago by the landlord or landlady for kissing in the pub. I guess that sounds harsh but apparently they were warned for their own safety, the warning was due to a concern that they would be followed and beaten if there were any gay bashers in there.
I think gays kissing in a pub like my local is a stupid thing to do, if its a gay bar then thats obviously a different story.

Re: Gays kissing in public
Yeah, I don't like gays kissing in public, in the same way I don't like turning round and seeing a hetro couple getting off with each other.
In a club however, I don't care either way.

Re: Gays kissing in public
Oh dear this thread is gonna be fun lol .I personally dont like seeing 2 men kissing I dont know why but I know some psychobabbler will say its cuz im insecure about my own sexuality well maybe I am I dont know but somehow if I see 2 women kissing often something occurs that makes me think in straight (up ) But everyone also should be allowed to express themselves how they want and shouldn't feel uncomfortable because maybe I am. However you point in question then common sense should prevail and if theres any chance of trouble then maybe the couple should refrain. No offence to anyone ment here

In public
Two men kissing: I find it off-putting. But it should be allowed -I will look the other way Transgender et al ditto...
Two girls kissing: keep going girls!
Heterosexual kissing: get a room!

That would be a boring rule though!
Thinking generally about kissing though, its unusual in my local to see men and women kissing. (partners) I often see it when a guy and gal hit it off, but partners doing it are very rare.

Hmmm, with all that booze, the barriers fall quite easily. Kissing is the least of my worries after few pints...

Re: Gays kissing in public
Seems to be the problem is with the couple in question rubbing everyones nose in their antics so to speak? Which for me would be equally unwelcome regardless of the gender mix of the couple.

Re: Gays kissing in public
I must be a bit of an oddity then. Seeing two gay men kiss is much the same as a man and a woman kissing to me. Maybe I should be sent out the pub with Shaun and greencreeper.
2 women kissing though, is a beautiful magical thing. And therein lies the big hypocrisy. I'm going to be a traitor to my gender here and say its probably to do with represseed feelings and societial attitudes. Women normally hold hands walking down the street. Men never do, they'd get beaten up. Why? And why is it appropriate to shake hands and high-five every 10 mins? Who made the rules?

Re: Gays kissing in public
I don't think kissing (striaght or gays) is a problem, its when they eat each others face off in the proccess which is wrong.

Re: Gays kissing in public
I don't go to the pub to watch people grope each other...But I hate the hypocrisy of saying it's ok for women to kiss each other but not for any other sort of couple.Give me a break...
I can't believe that anyone would actually think this is worth remarking on..
And to avoid all the pointless crud that's bound to come hereafter in this thread I shall post no further and I shall unsubscribe.Life is too short for this sort of discussion. It's one step up from a Peachey post but only just.

Depends on wether it's a quick peck on either cheek or a long drawn out wet tongued touchy tonsil type.

Re: Gays kissing in public
If its full on snogging (homo or hetro) then it should be done in private. Full on snogging is sexual in my eyes.
